London, Ontario – Small Town Bad is gearing up for the release of their debut EP, 'Live at the Sugar Shack,' scheduled to hit major streaming platforms on February 9th, 2024. Recorded at The Sugar Shack, a studio based in London, Ontario, the session perfectly captured the band's live essence.
'Live at the Sugar Shack' offers a glimpse into Canadian-Roots storytelling, featuring powerful harmonies that create a raw, smoky atmosphere. The EP mirrors the intimate setting of The Sugar Shack recording studio, encapsulating the band's style. The videography and production captured by Solaire Studios sees the group harness the energy of their live performances into one tight 25-minute package of unapologetic attitude.
Formed by Tasmine Jane and Mitch Tones, both products of Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts Program, Small Town Bad brings together backroad rock and bourbon blues love songs, crafting a sound that echoes the acoustic roots of Canada blended with southern outlaw swank.
The A1 Band of London locals stars Tasmine Jane on vocals, Mitch Tones on guitar and vocals, Henry Lenz on the fiddle, Nick Wolfe on lead guitar and harmonica, Mike Diamond on bass, and Tim LeClare on drums. ‘Live at the Sugar Shack’ is a showcase of a band firing on all cylinders to create a sound that is truly their own.
